Some 2012 Blog Highlights

I'm not going to get too deep into my last year but it definitely was my best year yet!

When it comes to my style I have had a huge transition into who I am, which you may be able to tell from even my blog posts. I dress for me and have way more confidence now than I did even 6 months ago and I know the transition isn't over. I guess it could be growing up or it could be a few other things but I can not wait to see what 2013 has in store for me and my closet.

Happy New Year Everyone!!

Grunge - ish

Well as you can tell my hair is back to blonde and I could not be more relieved. It took 6.5 hours of sitting in my "hair gods" chair and an amount of money I wish to not disclose to make the transition back but it was all worth it. I can't even tell you how unhappy I felt every time I caught a glimpse of my reflection. I guess what they say is true, "blonde is better" - well I guess no one says that but I sure do believe it now.

It's In The Bag

Balenciaga Giant Rose Gold City. Rosebud Salve in a tube. Helmut Lang wallet. Pen and Notebook (I always have a notebook and pen in every bag and go through them like crazy). Alexander Wang mini wallet (used as a case for my headphones). Jonathan Adler headphones. Celine sunglasses. IPhone 4S (the life line).

I have never done a "what's in my bag" post so here it is! Anyone who knows me knows I also have a ton of receipts floating around in my bag for work but that's just not as pretty...

The Backpack

As many of you know Mary-kate and Ashley's line The Row has teamed up with renowned artist Damien Hirst to collaborate on limited edition handbags featuring their best selling aligator leather backpacks and prescription drugs. I personally love the above bag that has been described as "wearable art", so I want one! One slight issue is I don't have a cool $55,000 hanging around but fear not I have an idea.
All I need is one of these Topshop Rucksacks. They are real leather and come at a much more realistic price of $500.

And lastly I need a few beautifully coloured drugs... Tylenol capsules and liquid Advil will do the trick but I may even hit up a few friends who can get their hands on the pretty baby yellow and blue Adderall (but forget I told you that).

My wearable art backpack will come to a total of around $550. Sign me up!

23

I took some time off from my 3 jobs and blogging last week to enjoy a family trip to Malibu. Relaxing for me is actually super hard to do but I forced myself to enjoy some "silence" for a few days...wasn't very successful but I had a great time and a beautiful 23rd birthday surrounded by sun, sand, family and some good old reading. Perfect.

I did take these selfies before dinner at Nobu Malibu on saturday night. The jacket I actually scored at Saks in Beverly Hills on Black Friday (never seen so much crazy in my life) and the pants were a birthday present from the lovely Elizabeth Clark.
