While cleaning out my closet today I found a box of photos. Hiding in a shoe box on the very top shelf. A box I had obviously put out of reach to keep out of mind.
Pictures that not long ago meant a lot to me. Just like the people in them.
Pictures that represented happiness.

And sadness.

Without hesitation I threw them away. It felt great. I had been needing that picture frame anyways.
