Last night me and my friend Maura finally went to see Slumdog Millionaire. After countless award winnings and my mother going on and on about the film I thought this must be worth seeing in some way. I walked into the theatre just excited to be out with a friend who makes me laugh just by simply useing "potty" words in odd places, but I walked out of the theatre in shock.
I would agrue that this movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my entire life. Not only was the story real and exciting but the cinematography and music were also breathtaking. Sometimes my stomach would turn or I would start to feel upset but that was almost always broken up by an exciting chase scene featuring MIA. During these scenes I'm convinced huge smiles would emerge on my face.
Long story short this movie was amazing. Its true this year was a great year for movies with Slumdog Millionaire and Frost Nixon ranking in my top 5. *Note I havent seen every film this year...obviously.
I have a tendency to be very early for movies so while waiting we started taking some pictures but that was quickly interupted by a man saying "your not allowed to take pictures" followed by Maura calling him a "penis". Amazing night!
PS. I KNEW THE LAST ANSWER TO THE SHOW! I KNEW THE THIRD MUSKATEERS NAME!! Sad? Or Amazing?
